Artists' Collector's Edition Glass Water Carafe, the first in a new series of water carafes. During the heady days of late nineteenth century Paris, the sacred time between 5 to 7 PM was known as
l'heure vert or the green hour. Café tables were covered with Absinthe glasses and water carafes. Why was the water carafe such an integral part of Absinthe's traditional presentation? Because cold water was and still is an essential part of making a delicious Absinthe cocktail.
